Let's Get Painting!
I started by organizing all my pieces by color. Here's the palette I used:
Dark green (almost black) for the base pieces
Medium green for tags and shamrocks
Minty green for accent pieces
Gold for the "Lucky Latte" sign
White for the whipped cream toppers and lettering
My Painting Tips:
Paint by color rather than by piece. I find it easier to paint all the dark green pieces first, then medium green, and so on. This way, you're not constantly cleaning your brush!
For intricate pieces with etched details, use the makeup sponge instead of a brush. Just lightly tap the paint on to preserve those beautiful etched lines.
Don't worry about mistakes! The beauty of painting is that you can always paint over any oopsies. I accidentally painted a shamrock green that was supposed to be gold, but it was no big deal to fix.
Add dimension with highlights. Once your base colors are dry, use a tiny brush to add white highlights to make your pieces pop.
Putting It All Together
After everything was painted, I assembled the pieces using E6000 glue. Remember - "just a dot, not a lot" when it comes to glue!
The finished set includes:

A "Luck" tag with a mini coffee cup
A sweet banner with shamrocks and coffee cups
